Google has officially debuted Google Analytics Android app Google Analytics for Android via the Google Play Store.

With this release, Google has made the webmasters’ and developers’ lives easier. Google Analytics Android app is yet another feather added to the increasing number native applications of Google services released for the Android platform.

Google Analytics Android app provides easier mobile access to the same accounts and profiles available through the web version of Google Analytics website accessible via any desktop browser. The mobile counterpart of Analytics however displays reports optimized for easy viewing on a small screen of the smartphone. Real-time statistics, along with customizable dashboards and intelligence events are available for Analytics users straight from their Android smartphone.

Using the new Google Analytics Android app, webmasters and developers will be able to get access to real-time statistics, traffic reports and intelligence reports, straight from their smartphone or tablet, from anywhere on the go. Account Home and Overview Page: The Account Home page lists all the properties, profiles, and filters in your Google Analytics account. When you launch the application, this page is displayed. You can use this page to navigate to any property, profile, and filter to get a quick view of how each of them is performing using the 30-day visit and percent-change metrics.

Real-Time Statistics: Google Analytics Android app displays an optimized version of Real-time statistics which lets you watch visitor activity as it happens on your site (or app). It displays the number of visitors you currently have and a list of the pages (for websites) or screens (for apps) that are currently popular.

Dashboard: The Dashboard gives you an overview on how your properties are performing by displaying summaries of different reports as widgets on a single page. By default, you’ll see Daily Unique Visitors and Goal Conversion Rate, but you can customize the dashboard to change which reports, metrics, or segments you want to see. To manage your dashboard, use the Dashboards menu on the left, found under the Home tab.

Automatic Alerts: These alerts are generated when Google Analytics detects any significant change in the traffic patterns on your site. Automatic alerts are created for all data in your account, so you can use this report to check past anomalies.

Customized Alerts: These alerts are triggered and generated when traffic reaches a specific threshold which you’ve specify in your account.
